Our Halloween
As there will eventually be less to write about our wedding, I've figured I'd write about other topics as well from time to time. Now you'll get to take a peak at our Halloween party. :) We had our traditional Halloween party on Saturday. We spent the whole day leading to the party cooking and baking. Eerikki was in charge of the cupcakes, I was of the savory dishes. The reason why Halloween is important to me leads back to when I was a kid and we always had a Halloween party even though pretty much no one else in Finland did at the time...

The wedding part 1.
Picture: Vill Sander. Continuing from previous post. We sat down and raised our glasses. My mom said a few words to welcome our guests to the wedding and to welcome Eerikki to our family. She also spoke a few words from Kalevala in respect to my late grandmother to whom it was very dear.

They gave us a cake tasting in Kirkkonummi in the fall and in the end we decided we don’t even need to go try any other places. The Art of Cakes was recommended for their skill in sugar flowers, which we knew we wanted, and the price was reasonable so it was the perfect package for us!
