Our Easter

We had to modify our Easter plans a bit as we were all still a bit unwell. If you recall, we got the noro virus at the end of March and ever since we had been sick with different things one after another and at the same time. Right before Easter I was almost back to normal and Jordan just had a cough but that was about to change soon!

On Easter Friday we went to my mom's for a family dinner (my family said we should come even though we weren't completely well yet). My mom had just participated in a cooking course where she'd learnt georgian cooking so she cooked us an amazing georgian dinner.

I loved seeing my family and having some good food. We had planned an Easter egg hunt for my nephew where each egg had a clue to a mystery. The solution to the mystery was the following: We're going to Florida next Christmas! So now you know that too :). Eerikki and I were supposed to go there on our honeymoon trip but couldn't due to covid so we decided to go now with my family.

On Sunday we were supposed to go for breakfast at our friends' place but that got canceled as we were still unwell. On Sunday-Monday night Jordan was really uncomfortable and in the morning we took him to the hospital. Luckily, as he had an ear infection. The new children's hospital was really great, everything went really well and quickly too.

For now we've canceled everything and are just waiting for Jordan to get better. He's done with his antibiotics and seems to be well so it looks like we can take part in Vappu celebrations!

I was feeling quite well today, so I decided I'd go for a jog in a bit. I haven't done that much exercising since giving birth so I hope I'll get back into the habit soon again.
