8 Ideas for Wedding Nails

Collaboration with Kauneuskeskus Fenix

I went to a nail salon three weeks ago to plan my wedding nails and I really like how they came out! I wanted something relatively simple as I was worried that too much decoration would make my wedding day look a bit too extravagant. This is a matter of taste, of course, and depends on the wedding dress too.

Kauneuskeskus Fenix's Merily did my nails and she was amazingly patient even though it took us a long time to figure out the style. I wanted hearts as decorations and it took us a good while to come up with the best style. I ended up getting one nail with a heart decoration on both hands. Now, after seeing all the beautiful designs by Merily I think I'll go with a few nails per hand decorated with hearts. After all, I don't think that even the more decorated styles she made are too much.

My wedding nails include a french manicure and heart decorations
Beautiful flowers
Ombre french style and glitter
Colored nail polish and rhinestone decorations
Flowers and rhinestones
Colored nail polish and two decorated nails
Light colored nail polish and rhinestones on the side. This, and the style at the beginning of the post are my favorites, in addition to my own, of course :D

Which ever style you go for, I highly recommend gel polish if you want to get your nails done for your wedding. It's really durable so you don't have to worry about your nail polish cracking on your wedding day.

If you want fake nails or a more extravagant look, you can get those too at Fenix, they also do facials, make-up and hairdos. I went to the one in Kamppi and was really happy with the end result.

I hope this was helpful to all of you thinking about getting your nails done for your wedding.
