Details and decorations from our wedding Part 1

Collaboration with Havi

I've listed here some details from our wedding with links to where you can get them. Many of these I have already shown in some previous posts but I wanted to make a post listing them all so they're easy to find, if there was something that inspired you.

Robes

Picture: Vill Sander

I love these robes! The robes are mint green and the embroidery is peach/light coral in color. Mine is with the same print but white. I put the titles in the back and names on the front.

Hangers

A thing that isn't perhaps absolutely necessary for a successful wedding - hangers with names! But then again, I thought it would be nice to get a pretty hanger for my beautiful dress and the ones for the bridal party were a small gift for all their help and practically free, too. I got the names for their hangers for free when I purchased something else, so I just painted basic wooden hangers peach and attached the names. Mine has a peachish flower and Mrs Enestam in gold.

Horse carriage ride

Picture: Vill Sander

We got an amazing horse carriage ride to the pier with Koff's horses, the whole story can be read from the Morning of our wedding -post. I don't know if this is something they do on a regular basis but here's their contact info .

White carpet

To me a wedding ceremony needs a long carpet but I didn't want a red one. I ended up choosing a white carpet from Expomattoand I bought about 25 yards of it. We cut it in half to get a wider and narrower carpet, both 25 yards in length. We used the narrower one at the pier for the guests and the wider one at the ceremony. White carpet isn't reusable but I recommend asking second hand carpets in other colors, it's always better when you can save money and the environment!

Prosecco and water bottles

Water bottle labels were mint green and Prosecco bottles came with decomposing straws and mint green ribbons.

Wedding party's outfits

Bestmen's gorgeous dark blue suits were custom made by Turo. Bestmen and the ring bearer wore dark blue suspenders, men's are from Stockmann. The kids dark blue suit is from Zara. Yellow bowties were purchased from hereas were the bridal party's dresses. The ring bearer's yellow socks were his own and the bestmen's socks are from here.

String quartet

We had a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour from Ylioppilaskunnan Soittajat.

Welcome -sign

Picture: Vill Sander

Welcome -sign was placed in front of the front door at HSS. We chose a text that would allow us to use it again, buying a huge piece of plastic for one time use wouldn't had felt right. I painted the easel gold with spray paint.

Boat ride

Picture: Vill Sander

After the ceremony we had a half an hour boat ride. We rented the boat and driver from Helsingin Venetaksi . The pennant is from Calligraphen.

Guestbook and instax camera

Our guestbook was mint green with black pages and we had a white pen for it.

The guests were asked to take a picture of themselves with the Fujifilm instax camera for the guestbook. I looked for a mint green camera for ages and finally found one but the seller only delivered to the US. I ordered it to my american bridesmaid's house and she delivered it to me.

Blackjack table

We made the table ourselves, you can read more about it here. The white flannel is from Eurokangasand the table is from Tori. I spray painted the table golden. Golden playing cards are from here, lip balms here and candles here. The penguin was unique :) but you can find her relatives from Citymarket. A penguin is our relationships totem animal, whatever the heck that means :D

Table chart

What I didn't paint with peach furniture paint, I painted with... golden spray paint! Mirror we already had, I just had to paint it. The white stickers for the table chart I bought from here. Attaching the stickers was the most nerve wrecking part of preparations, the second worst was the blackjack table...

Place cards, vases and candles

Picture: Vill Sander. Pistachio colored candle is from Havi.

Round plastic place cards with white text are from here . The vases are from Ikea, I'm selling narrower ones on my Shoppage. Beautiful mint green candles are from Havi, the color is called pistachio. If you're like me and candles have to match everything as well, I recommend you check Havi's selection, they have almost every color imaginable. They have other things for weddings too such as napkins, table cloths and lanterns. Mint green/gold vases I painted myself, we had those in the bathrooms with bridesmaids' bouquets.

Table numbers

Picture: Vill Sander

The instructions for the table numbers can be found here. Each table had pictures of us at the age of the table number.

Programs

The programs were made at the lovely Papershopto our wishes. Menu was from HSS.

Handsanitizers

The handsanitizers are Keep it clean - brand and bought from Citymarket, they have a watermelon fragrance. The labels can be found here.

Napkins and golden table cloths

Picture: Vill Sander

Mint green napkins are from here. They were embroidered in LA with S&E. From now on, any party we have will have mint green as a theme color as we have a hundred of these... Golden table cloths are from Etola.

Kiitos kivoista vinkeistä, täytyy sanoa että ylsityiskohdat todellakin TOIMII!
Mielettömän upeasti täydentää tuo valkoinen matto vihkiseremonian😍 miten olettekaan saaneet noin hienosti 25m sitä käsin leikattua leveyssuunnassa, tuskin ainakaan olohuoneessa…

Kiitos! 😄 Niiden eteen nähtiin paljon vaivaa, myös hääseurueen puolesta 😅 Matonhan leikkasi jäätävällä tarkkuudella Eerikin kaksi bestmaniä, en usko, että itsekään olisin saanut niin täydellistä lopputulosta aikaiseksi, toimi! 🤷🏼‍♀️
